Pop Rising On Tour, Spotify’s program aimed at supporting Pop artists on tour, sought to give artists and their fans an extra memorable experience at Sabrina Carpenter’s hometown stop while on her ‘Emails I Can’t Send’ tour. They wanted to include experiential activations, bespoke social content, and branded keepsakes for fans to hold onto this special memory.

For this activation, we knew we needed to go big and unique — the demographic was young, they were digital, and loved nostalgic unique experiences. Before fans even stepped into the venue, the experience began. Dressed in distinct Pop Rising uniforms, Brand Ambassadors roamed the area, capturing polaroid photos with eager fans awaiting entry. These custom-designed polaroids featured Spotify codes on the frames, promoting the Pop Rising playlist, and included essential details like the date, venue, and concert name—a tangible keepsake for fans.
Once inside, attendees stepped into Sabrina's world, bringing to life her iconic album cover with a digital twist — the fans were now the star. This immersive experience allowed fans to step into the world of the album and recreate the cover themselves. Each photo being branded with Spotify & Pop Rising logos, date, and venue, providing fans with a unique, branded memento that they could share across socials.
Strategic placement of Sabrina Carpenter x Spotify posters heightened brand presence, becoming cherished souvenirs. VIP guests enjoyed an exclusive pre-concert engagement, seamlessly blending the activation into their concert experience.
We were also able to orchestrate a special pre-concert experience in collaboration with our activation for VIP guests. This exclusive engagement allowed VIP ticket holders to interact with the activation and the Spotify brand without missing out on the concert, adding an extra layer of exclusivity to their experience without making GA ticket holders feel excluded.
Fan responses surpassed expectations, echoing gratitude across social platforms. The activation wasn't just an event; it was a testament to the resonance of interactive experiences in forging connections and elevating brand affinity. This collaborative venture showcased the ability of music, technology, and fan engagement to converge into a momentous celebration.
